Vision destroyed the last of Ultron's army, and that was the end of the AI’s so-called age - or so the world believed. In reality, one rogue sentry remained, and in July of 2016, Ultron shut down all resources vital to humanity - water, communications, electricity, gas - in a synchronized, global cyberattack. The world ended, not in a bang, but with a whimper, as skylines went dark and machines went silent.
It’s now May of 2017, nearly a year later. The death toll is unfathomable and most cities lay decimated, but some communities have managed to pull together and survive the unsurvivable. People travel the globe in search of these holy lands, and in the United States, one of the largest is Black Canyon, Nevada. The hope for humanity’s continued survival persists in these small societies, but larger threats still loom on the horizon. Ultron is still somewhere in the wind, and Thanos has not forgotten that two Infinity Stones still remain on Earth. But will humanity be too concerned with staying alive to prepare for what's to come? [/font]
